Brazilian firms advises Brazil Potash its public offering of shares
Cescon Barrieu and Tauil & Chequer Advogados in association with Mayer Brown advised Brazil Potash (which holds the entire share capital of Potássio do Brasil) on its public offering of shares, worth a total of USD 30 million (approximately R$ 180 million). Veirano Advogados was also involved at this deal.
The shares were listed on the NYSE American stock exchange in New York (USA) and were priced at US$ 15.00 each.
Brazil Potash’s IPO on the NYSE American raised US$ 30 million at a price of US$ 15.00 per share, attracting the market’s attention due to the offer’s connection with the potential for mineral exploration in the Amazon region, where the company intends to develop one of the world’s largest potash exploration projects in Autazes, Amazonas. Brazil Potash’s listing on the capital markets under the ticker “GRO” represents the first IPO of a company with operations in Brazil since December 2021.
