Bronstein, Zilberberg, Chueiri and Potenza Advogados advised Guiabolso which was bought by PicPay

Financial marketplace PicPay has announced the purchase of 100% of personal finance portal Guiabolso, in a cash and stock transaction, in the first major transaction in the country motivated by “open banking”.

The purchase aims to accelerate the implementation of open banking in the app’s marketplace, which already offers card, personal credit and peer-to-peer lending to a customer base of 55 million.

Guiabolso’s 200 employees will be integrated into PicPay’s 3,000-employee payroll.
