Bronstein Zilberberg and TozziniFreire advise on investment at Stark Bank
Bronstein Zilberberg Chueiri Potenza Advogados advised Ribbit Capital – lead investor; TozziniFreire advised Sea Capital
TozziniFreire Advogados advised Sea Capital (the CVC arm of Sea Group) on a US$45 million investment in Stark Bank (a Brazilian fintech startup focused on services for large corporations).
The Series B investment round was led by sponsor Ribbit Capital’s fund that was advised by Bronstein Zilberberg Chueiri Potenza Advogados. The round also included investments from Bezos Expeditions (Jeff Bezos’ family office), and Series A investors that followed (Lachy Groom, K5 Global, and the founders of Airbnb and Kavak).
This was the second round of institutional investment in Stark Bank in less than 6 months. This is the first investment made by Bezos Expeditions in a Brazilian startup.
