Bronstein Zilberberg assists OOOO in deal with B2W
Bronstein, Zilberberg, Chueiri & Potenza Advogados advised OOOO on the execution of a partnership agreement with B2W to launch its live commerce platform
Bronstein, Zilberberg, Chueiri & Potenza Advogados advised Video Commerce Group Limited (OOOOO) created in 2020 by the former CEO of Wish and the former CTO of Tik Tok. In just a few months, OOOOO became the most downloaded shopping app in the UK, overtaking Amazon.
B2W, based in Brazil, offers a complete e-commerce marketplace, connecting customers to sellers and suppliers through several brands, including: Americanas.com, the largest Brazilian online store with millions of products available in over 40 categories; Submarino, a digital brand in books, games, technology and entertainment; and Shoptime, the largest home shopping channel in Latin America and a specialist in live product demonstrations.
Under the partnership agreement, the OOOO platform will be integrated into B2W’s complete ecosystem, including an application to be launched in Brazil.
The partnership agreement provides for the exclusive use of OOOOO’s technology and platform in Brazil by B2W, as well as the possibility of forming a joint venture between the parties for the continuous development of operations in the country. The partnership contract has an initial term of one year, and may be renewed by agreement between the parties.
The Bronstein Zilberberg team that advised OOOO was formed by partner Guilherme Potenza (pictured), partner Adriana Rollo and associate Paula Bobrow.
Mattos Filho advised B2W with partners Camilla Ribeiro Martes, Rodrigo Figueiredo Nascimento, Paulo Marcos Rodrigues Brancher and associate Karina Margulies.
