Bruchou and Beccar Varela in sale of KWS in Argentina and Brazil to Don Mario
Bruchou & Funes de Rioja has advised KWS SAAT SE & Co. KGaA, a multinational with more than 5300 employees worldwide, with presence in Brazil, Argentina, Paraguay and Uruguay, on the sale of its business in Argentina and Brazil to Grupo Don Mario, the latter advised by Beccar Varela.
The sale took place on 25 March, and included all maize breeding and sales operations in South America and production locations in Argentina and Brazil.
The transaction could amount to approximately 500 million euros, and is subject to conditions, including regulatory approvals.
Bruchou’s team was led by partners Mariano Luchetti (pictured left) and Gabriel Lozano (pictured centre), assisted by associates María Gulias, María Bourdieu and Julián Gomez Luboz.
Beccar Varela’s team was represented by partner Pedro Silvestri (pictured right).
