Bruchou counsels Central Puerto on CP Renovables takeover
Argentinian law firm Bruchou, Fernández Madero & Lombardi has advised electricity generation and distribution company Central Puerto on its acquisition of the remaining 30 per cent stake it did not own of its subsidiary CP Renovables, a renewable energy developer.
As a result of the transaction, Central Puerto now owns 100 per cent of the capital stock of CP Renovables.
Central Puerto owns and operates thermoelectric generation plants, generating and distributing electricity in the Buenos Aires region. The company also explores for natural gas and develops gas fields.
The acquisition represents approximately 242MW of installed capacity in renewable energy, wholly owned by Central Puerto.
Bruchou’s team advising Central Puerto was led by partner Mariano Luchetti (pictured), with associate Agustina Leppen.
