Bruchou & Funes de Rioja strengthens leadership with two new partner appointments
Bruchou & Funes de Rioja, one of Argentina’s leading law firms, has announced the appointment of Leandro Exequiel Belusci (pictured right) and Pablo Crimer (pictured left) as new partners, effective April 1, 2025. These promotions reinforce the firm’s banking & capital markets and environmental law departments.
Leandro Exequiel Belusci has been a key figure in the banking & capital markets department for over a decade. His expertise spans local and international financing and debt issuance transactions, including some of Argentina’s most complex and high-value deals. Belusci also gained international experience as an associate in Milbank LLP’s Global Capital Markets department in New York.
With his promotion, Bruchou’s banking team now boasts six partners, further solidifying its position as the largest specialized banking law team in Argentina. Hugo N. Bruzone, head of the department, praised Belusci’s dedication and professionalism, emphasizing his role in maintaining the firm’s leadership in the sector.
Pablo Crimer was promoted within the environmental law department after more than 17 years of experience advising clients on environmental compliance, sustainability, and ESG matters. Since being named Expert Counsel in 2024, Crimer has led the department, addressing critical issues such as climate change, renewable energy, and carbon markets.
His promotion underscores Bruchou’s commitment to environmental law within a full-service firm. Rodrigo Funes de Rioja highlighted Crimer’s leadership and technical expertise as instrumental in positioning the firm as a reference point for environmental risk management and sustainable business practices.
