Bruchou, Marval, Morgan Lewis, Simpson Thacher guide $75M loan to Metrotel

Marval and Simpson Thacher advised Metrotel on a $75 million loan. Bruchou and Morgan Lewis acted for the lenders.

 

PC networkMetrotel is a brand of CPS Comunicaciones, an IT and telecom services provider in Argentina. 

ING Capital acted as lead arranger, bookrunner, administrative agent and lender; the New York Branch of Itaú Unibanco acted as lender; the Bank of New York Mellon as collateral agent; and TMF Trust Company as onshore collateral agent.

Partner Hernán Slemenson led the Marval, O’Farrell & Mairal team which acted for Metrotel on Argentinean law matters. Marval also advised TMF Trust Company on matters of local law in Argentina, partner Roberto Silva fronted this team. 

Metrotel instructed Simpson Thacher & Bartlett for NY law matters, with partner Todd Crider on a lead role. 

Bruchou, Fernández Madero & Lombardi acted for the lenders in Argentina, with partner Analía Battaglia leading the team.

Partners Thomas Mellor and Marcus Marsh steered the lawyers at Morgan Lewis & Bockius which provided New York law counsel to the lenders. 

The Bank of New York Mellon instructed Emmet, Marvin & Martin, led by partner Elizabeth Clark.
