BSVV acts in acquisition of Mega Frío in favour of Patria Investments
Barros Silva Varela & Vigil acted as advisor to the Brazilian fund Patria Investments, through the cold storage company IceStar, in the purchase of Mega Frío, which belongs to the holding Red Megacentro, leader in industrial real estate rentals.
Mega Frio is an integrated logistics operator specialising in the cold chain of food products, offering a full spectrum of services for the handling of frozen and refrigerated food products (including cold storage and cold transport).
The closing of the transaction is subject to the fulfilment of certain conditions, which are still pending, including, among others, the approval by the Fiscalía Nacional Económica (FNE).
