Colombian firm Brigard Urrutia has advised on the attribution of the tender to complete the works of the Autopista Conexion Pacífico 2 project of the La Pintada Concession.
Concesión La Pintada S.A. – made up of the Colombian firms Grupo Odinsa S.A. (78.85%) and Construcciones El Cóndor S.A. (21.15%) – was awarded a contract to design, finance, build, operate and maintain the Pacifico 2 road concession, the first project to be awarded under Colombia’s fourth generation of road concessions.
The Conexión Pacífico 2 project is located in the department of Antioquia. In conjunction with Conexiones Pacífico 1 and 3, it aims to connect the input and production centres in the north of the country with Antioquia, the Zona Cafetera, Valle del Cauca and the Colombian Pacific. It seeks to promote commercial exchange between these areas and with the exterior, to become one of the most important corridors in the country.
