BU assists AES Colombia in financing Brisas Solar Park
Brigard Urrutia has advised AES Colombia on a financing, granted by Bancolombia and Scotiabank Colpatria, for the solar energy complex Parque Solar Brisas
Brigard Urrutia has assisted AES Colombia, as a debtor, in the financing of the Brisas Solar Park, as well as for other needs of its ordinary business. The financing consisted of a loan granted by Bancolombia and Scotiabank Colpatria for an amount of $227,500,000,000 Colombian pesos.
Brisas Solar Park is a solar energy complex with an installed capacity of 26 MW, located in the municipality of Aipe in the department of Huila. This is the third solar park to be built by AES in Colombia, which now has more than 100 MW of installed capacity in solar parks.
BU’s team was led by partner César Felipe Rodríguez Parra, with the support of senior associate Santiago Jaramillo Martínez and intern María Camila Castro.
