BU represents GHL Hotels in expansion to Latin America

Brigard Urrutia has advised GHL Hotels on its partnership with Advent International for its expansion in Latin America

 Colombian law firm Brigard Urrutia has represented GHL Hotels on its partnership with Advent International, through which it will continue its expansion plans in Latin America. The alliance will strengthen its financial position to accelerate growth through new operating contracts, additional hotel investments and acquisitions of other third-party hotel operators.

GHL is an independent hotel operator in the Andean Region and Central America. It began operations in 1964 with five hotels in southern Colombia. It operates 62 hotels in 40 destinations located in Colombia, Ecuador, Peru, Central America, Chile and Argentina, with more than 7,000 rooms and 5,000 employees. Its portfolio includes international brands such as Sheraton, Hyatt, Marriott, Radisson and Sonesta.
