Bumachar Advogados has hired Renato Scardoa has new partner

To strengthen its position in São Paulo, Bumachar Advogados, specialized in Corporate Law with an emphasis on insolvency, announced Renato Scardoa as the new partner in charge of the São Paulo office alongside Juliana Bumachar, who will also continue to lead the Rio de Janeiro office with partners Vitor Hugo Erlich Varella and Felipe Corrêa.

Scardoa has recognized experience in business structuring and corporate restructuring, with expertise in law firms and legal departments, including working in California as International legal counsel in an American multinational company.

Renato Scardoa is a Doctoral student in Commercial Law from the University of São Paulo (USP), and Master in International Economic Relations Law and graduated from the Pontificia Universidade Católica de São Paulo (PUC-SP). Currently, he is a member of the Committee of Jurists appointed by the Federal Senate to debate the Reform of the Commercial Code, besides being one of the authors of the Legal Framework for Entrepreneurship project. Besides, he participated, with Juliana Bumachar, in the Support Group for Insolvency Law, which contributed to the recent Reform of the Business Restructuring and Bankruptcy Law.
