BVA advise MetaApply on strategic partnership with IE Intercâmbio

BVA – Barreto Veiga Advogados advised MetaApply, a global education technology company specializing in international student mobility, entered into a strategic partnership with IE Intercâmbio, one of the largest student exchange companies in Latin America.

The transaction consolidates the operations of both entities under a unified brand. Through an equity investment in IE Intercâmbio, MetaApply marks its entry into the Brazilian and Latin American markets, expanding its footprint in the international education sector.

The foreign direct investment strengthens IE Intercâmbio’s ability to meet the growing demand for international education programs and further establishes its leadership position in Latin America. The integration of the two companies will leverage advanced artificial intelligence to optimize service offerings, enhance operational efficiency, and improve student placement outcomes.

The newly formed company will be led by Patrick Guimarães, founder and current president of IE Intercâmbio, as CEO for Latin America. Prashant Sali, current managing partner at MetaApply, will assume the role of CEO for the United Kingdom and the rest of the world.
