BVA announces the arrival of a new partner
BVA – Barreto Veiga Advogados announced the arrival of Pablo Arana (pictured) as a new partner in the firm’s corporate, M&A and business law practices.
With a solid international background and about five years of experience at prestigious US law firms (such as Skadden, Arps, Slate, Meagher & Flom LLP and Gibson Dunn), the lawyer joins the team to strengthen transactional practices and drive the Brazilian bank’s international expansion.
Pablo holds an LL.M. from the University of Pennsylvania Carey Law School, as well as a Business certificate from the Wharton School, and is admitted to practice in Brazil and in the state of New York, in the United States.
In addition to his LL.M. and certificate from the Wharton School, Pablo holds a law degree from the Federal University of Minas Gerais (UFMG) and a postgraduate degree in Business Law from the Getúlio Vargas Foundation (FGV). He is a member of the Brazilian Bar Association (OAB/SP) and the New York Bar Association. In Brazil, he has worked at law firms such as Lefosse, Arap, Nishi & Uyeda and Araújo e Policastro.
