BVA strengthens its Corporate and M&A team

Barreto Veiga Advogados announced Tânia Lehmann as its newest partner

BVA Advogados has strengthened the Corporate and M&A area of the firm with the new partner Tânia Lehmann (pictured). She has a specialization in Corporate Law and a master’s degree in Commercial Law from Pontifícia Universidade de São Paulo (PUC/SP).

With more than 22 years of professional career, Tânia has extensive experience in advising clients in mergers and acquisitions, private equity and venture capital investments, in addition to assisting foreign clients with their investments and operations in Brazil.

Before joining BVA Advogados, Lehmann worked as a senior lawyer at Lacaz Martins, Halembeck, Pereira Neto, Gurevich e Schoueri Advogados and later became a partner at the law firm Fernandes Figueiredo Françoso Petros (FF Advogados), where she headed the Contracts, Corporate Governance and Corporate Governance areas.

At BVA, Lehmann will focus on large scale M&A transactions, due diligence and report review processes, as well as the preparation and negotiation of corporate documents required for the acquisition of companies, mostly S/As. Her main targets will be startups, fintechs, technology, investment funds, banks and financial services industries.

She will use her corporate affairs expertise to transform the customer experience into a journey of excellence.

Tânia will co-lead a team of 6 lawyers together with Felipe Barreto Veiga, founder of BVA.
