BVZ announces new partner and strengthens its tax practice

BVZ Advogados announced the promotion of Artur Muxfeldt (pictured) to the partnership, to strengthens its tax practice

With experience at major law firms in São Paulo and Rio de Janeiro, a four-year trajectory as a senior associate at BVZ, and a solid academic background, Artur has been promoted to partnership to assume a strategic position in the tax litigation and tax transaction practices, which are experiencing growing expansion at the firm.

With over 10 years of experience in tax law advising domestic and international clients, Artur Muxfeldt focuses his practice on complex tax disputes, in the administrative and judicial spheres, as well as on customized tax transactions for renegotiating companies’ tax liabilities, and monitoring tax audits.
He holds a master’s degree in International Tax Law from IBDT, a postgraduate degree in Tax Law from FGV-SP, and a law degree from PUC-RJ.

The new partner also works as a guest lecturer in postgraduate courses in Tax Law at Ibmec-SP and the Escola Mineira de Direito (EMD).

Artur’s promotion reflects BVZ’s policy of valuing and investing in the talent of its lawyers. His expertise and strategic vision will be fundamental to further strengthen the firm’s tax practice, offering clients solutions to complex issues.
