Campos Thomaz Advogados presents a new partner
Campos Thomaz Advogados announced the addition of a new partner, attorney Mario Cosac (pictured), in a move that reinforces the firm’s areas of Tech Litigation, Intellectual Property, Digital Law & Technology, Commercial Contracts, and Civil Liability.
Mario has more than 12 years’ experience in the market and has worked for some of the most renowned law firms in Brazil and Latin America. Mario holds a Bachelor’s degree in Law (J.D. Equivalent) from the University of São Paulo (USP) and a master’s degree in Commercial Law from the same institution, as well as postgraduation degrees in Contract Law from FGV and Law and Information Technology from Poli-USP. He recently completed his LL.M. in Law Science & Technology at Stanford Law School, where he deepened his knowledge of the intersections between law and technology.
In addition to his legal practice, Mario is an active contributor to academic production, with a book published on algorithmic bias and several articles published in renowned journals and specialized portals. He is a member of several professional associations, including the Brazilian Intellectual Property Association (ABPI), the Brazilian Association of Information Technology and Communications Law (ABDTIC), the International Association for the Protection of Intellectual Property (AIPPI), and INOVARB-ANCHAM.
