Campos Thomaz Advogados announced Sergio Meirelles as new partner
Digital, Technology and Venture Capital boutique firm Campos Thomaz Advogados, announced the arrival of partner Sergio Meirelles (pictured), in a move to strengthen and lead the growth of the Corporate Law practice, including Venture Capital, Mergers and Acquisitions, Corporate and Investments.
With over 10 years of experience and professional practice in Brazil, Latin America and the United States, Sergio’s practice focuses on national and international transactions, advising venture capital funds on investment in high growth companies (startups), corporate venture initiatives, private equity transactions, mergers and acquisitions, national and international corporate structuring, wealth management, corporate governance, investor relations, employee compensation and founders, as well as advising already consolidated companies on their daily challenges and liquidity events.
Former partner at Baptista Luz Advogados, Sérgio has a law degree from Mackenzie University School of Law and an LLM in Corporate Law from Northwestern University School of Law.
