Candido Martins Advogados is now Candido Martins Cukier

The law firm Candido Martins Cukier, formerly known as Candido Martins Advogados, begins a new phase in its career with the arrival of Alex Cukier (pictured left) to the firm, alongside founders Alamy Candido (pictured center) and Henrique Martins (pictured right).

This change marks the beginning of a new phase in the firm’s career and the strategic strengthening of the firm, which is celebrating 15 years in the corporate legal market and launching its new brand, combining a solid transactional practice with experience in major operations.

With the arrival of Alex Cukier, the firm is reinforcing its work in mergers and acquisitions, special situations and corporate litigation. Today, the firm works in the areas of mergers and acquisitions, private equity, corporate, tax, litigation (tax and corporate), wealth and succession planning and financial and capital markets.

Alex Cukier is a lawyer who graduated from PUC/RJ and was a partner at Barbosa Musnich & Aragão Advogados in the mergers and acquisitions area, where he worked for almost 20 years. In recent years, he has been an entrepreneur and investor, having co-founded companies such as Impact Legal Performance, Pact and Ventoo Capital, where he had the opportunity to work on several special sit projects involving distressed assets, as well as being an investor in companies such as Loy and Turivius, in the area of legal technology.
