Carey acts in Santander Asset Management buildings acquisition

Carey has acted as advisor to the Santander Rentas Residenciales Investment Fund, managed by Santander Asset Management, in the acquisition of seven residential buildings and a real estate project from the Ameris Multifamily Partners Fund, Penta Vida and EBCO, among other investors.

This transaction, completed on November 20, was valued at more than USD $37 million (UF1,300,000). Alcaíno Abogados acted as advisor to the sellers, while Barros & Errázuriz advised Fondo Ameris Multifamily Partners.

With this acquisition, Santander Rentas Residenciales increases its portfolio of real estate assets from 3 to 11 multifamily buildings, becoming one of the main players in the industry.
