Carey advises ALLVP on Fintual investment

Chilean law firm Carey has advised Antoni Lelo de Larrea Venture Partners (ALLVP), a Mexican venture capital fund, on its investment in Chilean online financial advisory Fintual. 

Fintual is a Chilean fintech start-up that has grown quickly after having been incubated by Y Combinator, a US start-up accelerator.

ALLVP had previously invested in Cornershop, a company founded by Chileans and in which Uber recently acquired a majority ownership at a company valuation exceeding $650 million.

Carey’s team was led by partner Francisco Guzmán (pictured), with associates Benjamín Saa, Carlos Alcalde and Nicolás Calderón.
