Carey advises CFSIT on $10m loan to COPEVAL
Carey has advised CFSIT on a USD $10 million loan to Compañía Agropecuaria COPEVAL.
The transaction was executed on 2 June, involving the jurisdictions of Chile and the United States.
The complexity of the case was that it was secured through pledge warrants, which are quite unusual in the market and have a special regulation.
Jaime Cortés acted as in-house counsel to COPEVAL.
Carey’s team was led by partner Diego Peralta (pictured), with support from associates Felipe Tupper and Felipe Reyes.
