Carey and Davis Polk advise Falabella on bond repurchase
Carey and Davis Polk & Wardwell have represented Falabella on the Chilean legal aspects of the repurchase of its bonds placed in the foreign market under U.S. Rule 144A and Regulation S of the Securities Act of 1933.
The bonds, maturing in 2027, were repurchased for a total of USD 210 million in a transaction that closed on March 25, 2025. This strategic move allowed Falabella to reduce its debt and improve its risk rating, signaling recovery to both foreign and domestic markets.
