Carey has represented Banco de Chile in its $500 million bond issue
Carey has assisted Banco de Chile in a $500 million US dollar aggregate principal amount bond issue maturing in 2031 with a fixed interest rate of 2.990% of its medium-term note (MTN) programme.
This transaction closed on 9 December 2021, with Shearman & Sterling acting as international counsel to Banco de Chile, while the underwriters, BofA Securities, Citigroup Global Markets, Goldman Sachs and J.P. Morgan Securities were advised by Garrigues in Chile and Linklaters internationally.
Sergio Rengifo acted as in-house lawyer for Banco de Chile.
