Carey assists Maxima Power in sale to Sunbelt Solomon Services
Carey has assisted Maxima Power Group, a portfolio company of Copley Equity Partners, in its sale to Sunbelt Solomon Services.
Maxima Power Group is a specialist in electrical engineering and testing, automation and control, and field technical services, certified under the North American NETA (International Electrical Testing Association) standard, with operations in the U.S., Canada and Chile, and is comprised of Magna IV Engineering, Power Solutions Group and Industrial Tests.
Sunbelt Solomon Services is a portfolio company of the private equity firm Trilantic North America.
This transaction, completed on July 30, involved the jurisdictions of the USA, Chile and Canada. Gibson Dunn & Crutcher acted as advisor to Sunbelt Solomon Services, while Perkins Coie and Stikeman Elliott also acted as advisors to Maxima Power. Harris Williams acted as financial advisor to Maxima Power.
Perkins Coie’s team included partner Jessica Batzell, and associates Christopher Phares, Golnaz Camarda and Ann Balzer.
Carey’s team was led by partner Marcos Ríos (pictured), with support from associates Juan Pablo De la Maza, Constanza Rojas and Florencia Martinez.
