Carey assists Vizcaya Capital in Levita Magnetics shares acquisition

Carey has assisted Vizcaya Capital Inversiones in the acquisition of Series A shares of Levita Magnetics, a Chilean company currently based in Silicon Valley, dedicated to the development of an innovative system to perform surgeries using magnetic fields, decreasing the number of incisions required for surgery.

This operation took place on 1 March and involved the US and Chilean jurisdictions. Greenberg Traurig acted as advisor to Aurus Bios Fondo de Inversión Privado.

Greenberg Traurig’s team included shareholder Antonio Peña and international law clerk Andrés Latorre.

Carey’s team was led by partner Francisco Guzmán (pictured), with support from associate Crescente Bernales.
