Carey counsels Brookfield on Chile toll road sale
Chilean law firm Carey has advised Canadian private equity company Brookfield Infrastructure Partners on its sale of an indirect 33 per cent stake in two urban toll roads to Infraestructura Alpha, an affiliate of Frontal Trust Infraestructura Alpha Fondo de Inversión, an infrastructure fund managed by Chilean fund manager Frontal Trust.
The two toll roads are Autopista Vespucio Norte (pictured) and Túnel San Cristóbal.
The Carey team advising Brookfield was led by partner Salvador Valdés and included tax and audit director Alejandra Risso and associates Arturo Poblete, Fernando Noriega, Loreto Joannon, Manuel José Garcés and Gabriela García.
Frontal Trust was advised by Arteaga & Gorziglia, and whose team comprised partner Arnaldo Gorziglia and associates Andrés Ossandon and Cristián Carpentier.
