Carey counsels Brookfield on toll road divestment

Chilean law firm Carey has acted as local counsel to Brookfield Infrastructure Partners on the sale of its indirect 33-per cent stake in the Autopista Vespucio Norte and Túnel San Cristóbal-Apoquindo toll roads, an affiliate of Fondo de Inversión CMB – LV Infraestructura III, Ardian France, and Ardian US.

salvador valdes of CareyTorys acted as international counsel to Brookfield, while Baraona Fischer & Cía acted as counsel to the buyer.

Carey’s team was led by partners Salvador Valdés (pictured) and Cristián Figueroa, with associates Arturo Poblete and Loreto Joannon.
