Carey has advised Daelim on Mitsubishi’s Cochrane stake acquisition

Carey advised Daelim Energy on the acquisition of Mitsubishi’s 40% stake in Empresa Eléctrica Cochrane, owner of a coal-fired power facility of 550 MW. AES Gener controls the remaining 60% of the company.

Carey team was led by partner Juan Francisco Mackenna (pictured), and involved associates José Tomás Hurley, Juan Pablo De la Maza, and Valentina Mendoza.

PPU assisted Mitsubishi in Chile0s jurisdiction and Clifford Chance in New York.
