Cariola assists Enel Chile on revolving credit agreement
Cariola Díez Pérez-Cotapos has assisted Enel Chile, as borrower, in connection with the Senior Unsecured Revolving Credit Agreement dated 27 March 2024, entered into between DNB Bank ASA, as administrative agent and lender, and Citibank, as lender.
The financing, valued at USD $150,000,000, had a three-year term and the proceeds of the loans will be used for general corporate purposes.
In this transaction, Covington & Burling acted as international counsel to the borrowers, Winston & Strawn as international counsel to the lenders, and Carey as local counsel to the lenders.
Covington & Burling’s team comprised partner Agnieszka Klich and associate Nitin Banerjee.
Winston & Strawn’s team consisted of partners Claude Serfilippi and Sey-Hyo Lee, and associate Ricardo Villalba.
Carey’s team included partner Fernando Noriega and associates Felipe Reyes and Victoria Alonso.
