Cariola advised initial purchasers on Chilean aspects of Nordex €275m bond

Cariola Díez Pérez-Cotapos acted as special Chilean counsel for the initial purchasers of a €275 million bond issued by Nordex and with Nordex (Chile) as guarantor.

Nordex designs, sells and manufactures wind turbines. It is headquartered in Germany and has global operations including a subsidiary in Chile. 

BNP Paribas, HSBC Bank, JP Morgan Securities, UniCredit, BayernLB and Commerzbank were the initial purchasers. Globally, the banks instructed White & Case lawyers in Germany, the UK, Italy, France, Sweden, Singapore, Spain, Mexico, South Africa, Turkey and the US.

Partner Rodrigo Sepúlveda led the Cariola Díez team which advised the banks.

The guarantor, Nordex Chile, instructed a team at Larrain & Asociados led by partner Patricio Montes
