Cariola Díez Pérez-Cotapos adivises Symbiotics Group on SME Fund
Chilean law firm Cariola Díez Pérez-Cotapos has represented Symbiotics Group in a US$10.6 million investment transaction involving a capital call facility in preferred shares of a private investment fund managed by Amicorp Administradora General de Fondos. The transaction was finalized on January 31, 2025.
The fund is designed to provide loans to small and medium enterprises (SMEs) in Chile, with Maxxa Capital SpA, a Chilean fintech company specializing in SME financing, responsible for debtor selection and loan portfolio management.
Symbiotics Group, a leader in impact investment, aims to leverage this transaction to enable its investors to support Chilean SMEs, aligning with sustainable development objectives and fostering social impact initiatives.
