Cariola Díez Pérez-Cotapos counsels banks on $250m Salmones Multiexport loan
Chilean law firm Cariola Díez Pérez-Cotapos has advised a group of banks acting as lenders in connection with a $250 million restructuring and new credit facilities agreement with Chilean salmon producer Salmones Multiexport.
The banks are Coöperatieve Rabobank, DNB Bank and Banco de Crédito e Inversiones.
The seven-year term financing was guaranteed by affiliates of the borrower and secured with real estate properties, aquaculture licenses, water rights and productive assets.
Cariola Díez Pérez-Cotapos’ team was led by partner Juan Antonio Parodi (pictured), with associates Cristóbal Morales, Teresita Fernández and Valentina Barros.
The legal adviser to Salmones Multiexport was in-house counsel Rubén Bascuñan.
