Cariola names Ignacia López as new partner
Cariola Díez Pérez-Cotapos strengthens its Labour practice with the appointment of Ignacia López as partner
Chilean law firm Cariola Díez Pérez-Cotapos has announced the addition of Ignacia López (pictured) as a new partner in the Labour, Social Security and Immigration practice, effective as of 1 May. Thanks to this appointment, the firm’s Labour team will be led by two women, alongside Bárbara Zlatar, together with partner Ricardo Tisi.
“I hope to contribute to our clients in the design of strategies to achieve a sustainable people management oriented to the success of the organization, as well as the resolution of complex conflicts. Rejoining the Cariola Díez Pérez-Cotapos team is to return to my professional roots, to the organization that trained me as a lawyer,” the new partner stated.
Ignacia has extensive experience in Labour Law and People Management, focusing on labour matters, both in advice and litigation and design and implementation of human resources policies and corporate governance.
She holds a law degree from the Universidad Católica de Chile and a Master in Business Law from the Universidad de los Andes, as well as a Diploma in People and Organisational Management from the Universidad Adolfo Ibáñez.
After having been part of the firm between 2006 and 2009, working in the Litigation and Arbitration area, especially in Labour Litigation and having led the People Management department (Human Resources), Ignacia rejoined the firm. She also worked for 12 years in Human Resources at Clínica Alemana, initially as Legal Assistant Manager and leading the area in recent years as Human Resources Manager. She is also a member of the Labour Commission of the CPC and of the Centro de Estudios de Derecho Laboral (CEDET).
