Carlos Treistman, former co-chair of Morgan Lewis’s Latin America team, joins Orrick

Orrick, the international law firm, announced the expansion of its newly launched Houston office with several lateral hires, including Carlos Treistman and Rodrigo Dominguez. 

Orrick announced the opening of its Houston office in January 2016. With the latest arrivals, the office comprises 22 lawyers from seven different firms.

Carlos Treistman joins from Morgan Lewis where he was the founder and co-chair of its Latin America team and head of its Houston Corporate and Business Transactions practice. At Orrick, he will serve as Houston Office Leader and will also co-chair the Latin American practice, together with Rodrigo Dominguez.

Treistman specializes in cross-border M&A, joint ventures and other international transactions while Dominguez is licensed in Mexico, New York and Texas, and counsels clients on Latin America local and cross-border transactions, including opportunities in the Mexican energy sector. He also joined from Morgan Lewis.
