Cascione advises on EMAE privatization process
Cascione has represented Phoenix FIP Multiestratégia and Phoenix Água e Energia on EMAE’s (major power generator) BRL 1,04 billion privatization proceeding conducted by São Paulo’s government.
EMAE’s privatization was the first initiative of this kind conducted by the current government of São Paulo.
EMAE’s operations exceed just electricity generation, as it manages Pinheiros River, which involves flood control procedures in São Paulo.
Cascione relied on several areas of expertise and included partners Denise Junqueira, Guilherme Bertolini, Felipe Estefam, Milana Martins (pictured top from left to right); Fábio Souza Aranha Cascione, Luca Salvoni and Ana Paula Calil (pictured bottom from left to right).
Wald, Antunes, Vita e Blattner Advogados was also involved at this deal.
