Cascione Advogados adds Renata Villela as partner
Cascione Advogados has announced the arrival of Renata Villela as a new partner in its Public Law, Infrastructure and Regulation practice. She will be based in São Paulo.
Renata Rocha Villela has built her career across both the public and private sectors, handling advisory and contentious matters in regulated industries, with particular focus on railway transport and energy. Her work combines legal knowledge of regulated environments with an understanding of the institutional and economic aspects of infrastructure projects, covering strategic issues tied to regulation and the relationship between private players and public authorities, both in advisory work and in complex disputes.
On the academic side, Villela holds a PhD and a master’s degree in State Law from the University of São Paulo (USP), a specialization in Constitutional Law and Constitutional Procedure from the Escola de Direito do Brasil (EDB), and a bachelor’s degree in Law from USP. She has also taught in postgraduate programs, taken part in examination boards, and published academic and opinion articles on infrastructure, political representation and democracy.
Villela’s arrival is part of Cascione’s broader effort to build up its presence in regulated and infrastructure-related sectors, expanding the firm’s ability to advise companies on projects, regulatory issues and strategic disputes in coordination with its other practice areas.
