Cascione and Tauil & Chequer advise on EDP debenture issue

Cascione Advogados acted as legal advisor to EDP Espírito Santo Distribuição de Energia, as issuer in the public offering of its 16th issue of debentures.

The debentures were the subject of a public offering registered with the Brazilian Securities and Exchange Commission (CVM), pursuant to CVM 160. The transaction value was R$ 1.2 billion.

Cascione relied on partner Ana Paula Calil (pictured left), associate Maria Alice Ubaldo de Mendonça, and intern Guilherme Guimarães.

Tauil & Chequer Advogados, associated with Mayer Brown, advised Bradesco BBI, as lead coordinator, and relied on partner Luis Otero Montes (pictured left) and associates Julia Zarth and Yasmin Rópa.
