Castro Barros Advogados strengthened its infrastructure team with the arrival of new partner Ludmilla Franklin Corkey
Castro Barros Advogados has strengthened its infrastructure team with the arrival of new partner Ludmilla Franklin Corkey, who will be responsible for the Energy and Oil & Gas practice areas.
Ludmilla has worked in top law firms and multinational companies such as BG Group, Equinor and El Paso, having extensive experience in complex joint venture agreements, transnational projects and mergers and acquisitions.
The new partner represents various types of domestic and international clients, including financial institutions, public and private companies in a wide variety of projects. Recently, she led Brazil’s first participation in ADIPEC, in Abu Dhabi, with the Oil and Gas Department of the Ministry of Mines and Energy and held several meetings with CEOs of major oil and gas producers.
Ludmilla has a law degree from Universidade Cândido Mendes, a master’s degree in philosophy from PUC Rio, and an LL.M. from Columbia University in New York.
