Cescon Barrieu acts as deal counsel on the Irapuru issue
Cescon Barrieu acted as deal counsel on the 2nd issuance of unsecured commercial notes, with personal guarantee, in a single series, by Irapuru Holding, for the public distribution, under the automatic registration rite of distribution, without prior analysis, under the CVM 160, in the total amount of BRL 260 million.
The commercial notes were guaranteed by Power IV Fundo de Investimento em Participações (FIP). The lead arranger and underwriter of the offering was Banco Bradesco BBI.
The Issuer is part of the Brookfield Renewable Partners group and operates as a producer and marketer of photovoltaic renewable energy for the Irapuru Solar Complex. Brookfield is one of the world’s largest investors in renewable energy and climate transition assets, with a generation capacity of approximately 33,000 megawatts.
They are present on five continents, where they manage a diversified portfolio of sustainable solutions and hydro, wind, solar and distributed energy.
The offering represents a further fundraising stage for the Issuer´s economic group and contributes to the development of its activities at Irapuru Solar Complex and in the renewable energy production sector.
The Irapuru Park is scheduled for completion in the first half of 2025, with a multidisciplinary team dedicated to the project, which will have 800 hectares for the installation of 750,000 bifacial solar modules, representing a technological breakthrough in solar energy.
The transaction value was BRL 260 million.
