Cescon Barrieu advise EMBASA on its issuance of debentures
Cescon Barrieu advised Empresa Baiana de Águas e Saneamento – EMBASA on its second issuance of nonconvertible, secured debentures, in a single series, for the public distribution, without prior analysis, destined to professional investors, under the CVM 160, in the total amount BRL 300 million.
The debentures are guaranteed by fiduciary assignment of credit rights of the company arising from receivables from invoices issued and to be issued by the Issuer arising from the provision of water supply and sewage services to municipalities in the State of Bahia; and credit rights corresponding to funds deposited in an escrow account of the issuer. Banco Modal and Banco Bocom BBM acted as underwriters.
