Cescon Barrieu advised Aegean Baltic Bank on a loan
Cescon Barrieu advised Aegean Baltic Bank as agent in connection with a term loan facility and, subsequently, its refinancing and increasing, to the MCT Group SPVs Ploioktitria Captain Nicholas Z Private Company and Ploioktitria Apollo Z Private Company, for purposes of financing of the vessels “Captain Nicholas Z” and “Apollo Z”.
The financing is secured by a robust collateral package including mortgage over vessels “Captain Nicholas Z” and “Apollo Z”, equity pledge over a Brazilian subsidiary of the MCT Group, and assignment of charter and insurance receivables of both vessels plus “Saveiros”, a third vessel owned by the MCT group.
The vessels are chartered to Brazilian shipping companies – Galáxia Navegação and Galáxia Marítima.
