Cescon Barrieu advises Localiza on BRL1.25bn debentures
Cescon Barrieu has acted as legal counsel to Localiza Rent a Car, Localiza Fleet, and UBS BB Corretora de Câmbio, Títulos e Valores Mobiliários on the 46th issuance of simple debentures by Localiza Rent a Car, non-convertible into shares, unsecured and with additional fiduciary guarantee, issued in a single series.
The transaction totaled BRL 1,25 billion, and was carried out through a public distribution under the CVM 160. The debentures were guaranteed by Localiza Fleet.
Cescon Barrieu relied on partners Marcelo Moura (pictured left) and Frederico Viana Rodrigues (pictured right), supported by associates Lucas Ubiratan, André Brandão, and Gustavo Silva.
On the in-house side, Localiza was advised by Alice Brandão and Vitor Campos, while UBS BB was represented in-house by Denise Freitas.
