Cescon Barrieu and Tauil & Chequer act in Mabel’s sale
Cescon Barrieu advised Camil Alimentos, one of the largest Brazilian grain processing companies; Tauil & Chequer Advogados associated to Mayer Brown represented PepsiCo do Brasil, one of the largest multinational food and beverage companies in the world in the operation for the sale to Camil, of 100% of the companies CIPA Industrial de Produtos Alimentares and CIPA Nordeste Industrial de Produtos Alimentares; responsible for the production of cookies and crackers under the main brand Mabel.
The transaction also involved the non-exclusive license to enable the production of cookies based on the Toddy brand for a limited term.
Cescon Barrieu relied on partners Maria Cristina Cescon (pictured left), Manoela Darcy de Oliveira Miranda, Tania Karina Liberman, Isabela Coelho, Nina Souza Costa de Brito and associate Julia Diniz.
The Tauil e Chequer team was led by partners Daniel Gunzburger (pictured right), Adriana Giannini and Celso Grisi, as well as associates Lucas Zamproni, Luciano Campos, Pedro Ardezzoni and Raphael Furtado.
