Cescon Barrieu assists Smartfit in the acquisition of SmartExp

Cescon Barrieu Advogados assisted Smartfit, which became the owner of 100% of SmartExp Escola de Ginástica e Dança

Smartfit acquired 100% of SmartExp. Whereas Smartfit held, prior to the transaction, 50% of the common shares of SmartExp, as a result of the transaction, Smartfit became the owner of 100% of the total and voting capital of SmartExp.

The acquisition is in line with Smartfit’s strategic objective to secure its leadership in the fitness industry in Brazil. The dance school runs 34 Smart Fit fitness centers distributed in Brazil.

Smartfit is a publicly traded company and a leader in the fitness industry in Latin America, operating, directly and/or through franchises, in eleven countries.
