Chalfin, Goldberg & Vainboim Advogados announced the admission of Pedro Burdman da Fontoura as a new partner
CGV Advogados announced the arrival of Pedro Burdman da Fontoura (pictured) as a partner of the new Tax Law department of Chalfin, Goldberg & Vainboim Advogados.
Pedro has post-graduate education, specializing in Procedural Law and an LL.M. and Ph.D. in Regulatory Law from the FGV School of Law in Rio de Janeiro, with a focus on Tax Regulation. He is also a part-time professor and attorney for the City of Niterói.
The new partner has years of experience in both Administrative and Judicial Litigation as well as Advisory, especially in Tax Planning. With his solid experience, he provides advisory and litigation services in relation to all tax issues involving companies, always seeking a complete view of all the possibilities, advantages, and eventual risks involved in each case.
Pedro will work with other areas of the firm, such as Corporate, Capital Markets, Banking, Labor, and Insurance, allowing for a multidisciplinary tax counseling, with deep knowledge of the client’s business.
