Charneski Advogados introduces new partner
Charneski Advogados introduced attorney Kaliane Abreu as a new partner at the firm with the mission of assisting in the expansion of operations in São Paulo.
Founded by Heron Charneski in 2009, Charneski Advogados is headquartered in Porto Alegre, Rio Grande do Sul, and has had an office in São Paulo since 2004. The firm’s areas of strategic focus include advising on tax reform, tax governance implementation programs and compliance programs, legal opinions and advice on complex matters, and strategic tax litigation at the administrative and judicial levels.
Kaliane Abreu is the founder of the Women Leaders in Fintechs (WLF) community. She holds a law degree from the Catholic University of Salvador, an LLM from Northwestern School of Law, a postgraduate degree in Business from the Kellogg School of Management, a postgraduate degree in Finance from UC Berkeley University, and an Executive MBA in Leadership and Management from Saint Paul Business School. She is admitted to the NY BAR. She held the position of global head of fintech based in the South and the first unicorn in southern Brazil. She has worked at multinational companies PWC, EY, Natura, and Emergent Cold Latam, as well as at law firms.
