Chiarottino & Nicoletti Advogados strengthens its practice areas
Chiarottino & Nicoletti Advogados has announced the arrival of a new partner in its corporate area, Daniel F. Pita (pictured) to strengthens financial markets, M&A and succession planning areas.
He works in the corporate area with a focus on the financial market. He specializes in structuring, negotiating and implementing financial operations using different local and offshore investment vehicles, with financial institutions, private investors and the capital markets, and has also participated in renegotiations, restructuring and refinancing of these same types of investments, always seeking to create and enable specific operations and structures according to each industry, client and operation. His practice is also strong in the corporate area: associations, mergers and acquisitions and corporate restructuring in general.
Daniel has a well-established career in law. For twelve years, he headed the legal department of a large family office, being responsible for various issues relating to investment fund management, the analysis and negotiation of credit operations and various other types of investments in Brazil and other jurisdictions. For more than ten years, he was a member of the corporate department of a large law firm in São Paulo and worked on important capital markets transactions for Simpson Thacher & Bartlett LLP in New York, USA.
Through his work over the last few decades, Daniel has acquired extensive experience in Wealth Planning and Succession Planning, specialties to which he has dedicated himself as an extension of his activities described above.
Daniel did his LL.M. at Duke University, where he was later invited to return as a visiting scholar, and dedicated a year to research related to aspects inherent in financial investments involving different jurisdictions (with an emphasis on Brazil, the USA and the Caribbean islands).
