Chile’s Prieto advises Engie Energía on solar project signing

Chilean law firm Prieto Abogados has advised Engie Energía Chile on the negotiation and signing of a construction agreement with the Chilean subsidiary of renewable energy developer Tozzi Latam for the construction of the Tamaya solar power plant.

Chile solarThe plant will be built in Chile’s Antofagasta region.

The plant will have an installed capacity of 114 megawatts and is part of Engie´s decarbonization plan, which implies the replacement of existing coal thermal power plants for new renewables plants, which will total 1.000 megaatts capacity and require an investment of approximately $1 billion.
